Every day the media seems to bombard us with more bad news: a boy is stabbed, a grandmother beaten up in her own home. Teen pregnancies. Gang fights. Drug addiction. Child abuse....

What is happening to our great nation? Why do so many live such wretched lives? We are not a poor country. We may talk of 'recession' but the fact remains: we are the sixth largest economy in the world. Yet in every town and city there are people trapped in lives they believe hold no future.

Who's to blame?
As a nation we must all share the blame. In the name of political correctness we have allowed the Christian principles this country was built upon, to become watered down - to the point where they are almost ineffectual. At Good News Family Care we believe the relentless erosion of our 'quality of life' in the UK is a consequence of abandoning our forefathers' Christian principles and the breakdown of the traditional Family - the bedrock of any stable society.

Family breakdown is estimated to cost the British taxpayer £102 billion each year*, but that mind-numbing sum pales to insignificance if we take into account the social cost. Behind the statistics lies human misery on a grand scale. The impact is felt in cities, towns and villages across the United Kingdom - no corner of our nation remains untouched.

What can we do?
We have two choices: we can stick our heads in the sand and hope the problem goes away (and, by default, become part of the problem). Or we can do something about it. The founders and supporters of Good News Family Care believe the latter option is the sensible one!
