Referring potential Service Users

The Good News Family Care Freedom2Live programme is offered to women from all backgrounds - regardless of age, ability, nationality, race, sexual orientation or religion. Women can approach us directly or they can be referred by third parties - such as Voluntary or Statutory Agencies, General Practitioners, Health or Social Workers, Probation Officers, Christian Organisations or Churches etc.

Each referral is carefully assessed by our Care Panel who determine whether or not our resources meet the particular needs of the applicant.

Eligibility

Women are eligible for our accommodation if they:

  • are 16 years of age or older
  • meet the requirements of our referral process
  • agree to the terms and conditions of the licence agreement
  • recognise that they need support
