Prayer is the wind in the sails of Good News Family Care. That's why we encourage Christians everywhere to pray for us. If you can spare a little time to pray on a regular basis, why not consider becoming a Prayer Partner? Being a Prayer Partner is way that anyone can support us - young, old, rich, poor, physically handicapped or able-bodied. As a Prayer Partner you'll receive occasional Prayer Letters by email, outlining specific issues that need your prayers. If you feel you can support us in this way send an email to: |

If you complete a Self Assessment tax return and are entitled to a tax refund, you can choose to have all or part of the repayment sent directly to charity. This is called ‘Self Assessment Giving’ or ‘SA Donate’. You can also ask that the repayment is made as a Gift Aid donation. Donate through your Self Assessment tax return
We welcome gifts of Food, Clothing, Soft Furnishings, Furniture, Electrical Goods, Office Equipment, Toys, Kitchenware, Cutlery etc. Donations of this kind are not only useful in themselves, they release funds for use in other vital areas. Please check our Guide to Donating Goods before delivering. One thing is certain: nothing is wasted - what we don't use directly we pass on to needy families or sell to raise funds. If you would like to receive our current 'Wish List' send an email to
We have support from local churches too and at Harvest Festival time we receive lots of lovely fresh produce and groceries.
Among our more unusual supporters are "The Bikers" - an amiable bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts who visit us from time to time, usually laden to the gills with Toys at Christmas or Easter Eggs (photos) We all look forward to their morale-boosting visits and many children (and parents!) benefit from their generosity.
Another way you can support us is by saving "collectables" such as Postage Stamps and Foreign Currency.
